Home & School
BCJA maintains an active Home and School Association, similar to the PTA or PTO found at public schools. Our Home and School is open to parents, teachers, school administrators, and other interested church members, community leaders and friends. Our primary purpose is to promote communication, involvement, and partnerships between parents, families, teachers, and the church families who send their students to our school.
All parents are encouraged to join our Home and School, and can do so by becoming a member for only $10 per family per school year! Parents are also encouraged to attend our Home and School meetings, held the 2nd Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise communicated). There, you can stay abreast of Home and School activities, help plan events and programs, as well as have your voices heard regarding school issues.
Our Home and School volunteers initiate programs and activities that strengthen the school’s Christian and academic climate. It does this by bringing the school and its families together throughout the year by organizing various activities including fundraisers, community outreach projects, teacher appreciation activities, and much more! BCJA’s Home and School team is also committed to increasing and enhancing the communication between the school, parents and the churches that send students to BCJA...hence, the birthing of this website!
We believe involved parents are vital to producing a quality education, and parental support is a primary factor in the academic success of our children. For this reason, we need for parents and families to stay involved! We strongly urge you to help your student be the best they can be by volunteering your time and talents to your child's school. Home and School appreciates you!
